Welcome to Al Zarooni Emirates Investments (ZEI), a full-fledged single-family office in Dubai, which we set up in 2009 to professionally manage, consolidate and structure a strand of the Al Zarooni family’s assets and investments.
ZEI helps us connect Emirati family wealth and values with the expertise and passion of our stakeholders. Our portfolio currently includes education, healthcare, financial services, real estate, travel and tourism, logistics, media and technology sectors.

Dr. Adil Al Zarooni
Chief Executive Officer, Al Zarooni Emirates Investments
Ismail Abdulwahid Al Zarooni, Chairman ZEI
Chairman of various family owned businesses across multiple sectors, Mr. Ismail is a UAE national, born and raised in Sharjah. Trained as a petroleum engineer, he served the UAE’s oil and gas industry for 53+ years, and is a former Director General of the Sharjah Oil and Gas Council. He was responsible for building the family’s wealth over six decades, across several sectors.
Abdul Wahid Ismail Al Zarooni, Vice Chairman ZEI
Abdulwahid Al Zarooni is the head of ZEI’s construction and development projects. He has previously overseen various construction sites and developments in both Dubai and Sharjah.
Abdulwahid served as the Chief Executive Officer of the family’s travel business, Arabian Travel Agency and is the Executive Chairman at Eveons.
Ahmed Ismail Al Zarooni, Director ZEI
Ahmed Al Zarooni oversees the real estate operations department at ZEI, managing almost all aspects of the lease portfolio of the family office. He also serves as the Managing Director of Granada Real Estate.
Ahmed has previously worked for Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development, and Invest Bank.

Hisham Hodrodge
Chief Investment Officer
With 20+ years’ experience in the GCC, Hisham provides insights and direction on growing and optimizing ZEI’s investment portfolio.
Currently, he is also serving the CEO of Citizens School and Education Hub.
Hisham holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American Universityof Beirut and an executive MBA from ESCP.
Naveed Aslam
Director of Finance
With 16+ years of experience in financial management, reporting and analysis, Naveed helps ZEI conduct feasibility studies, in-depth due diligence and business valuation in order to make sound business decisions. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan and an associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK.
Behzad Khan
Director of Investments
Well-experienced in financial modeling, forecasting, assessing economic data, developing risk profiles, analysing markets and client relationship management, Behzad helps analyze business opportunities. He hold’s a BBA from Imperial College of Business Studies (Pakistan) and a master’s in Applied Finance and Banking from the University of Wollongong (Dubai). He has also attended a Private Equity Programme at University of Oxford.
Sanjna Kumari
Financial Analyst
With expertise in financial planning, analysis, and modeling, Sanjna works closely with the team to support informed decision-making and optimize investment opportunities. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pakistan.
Ayesha Hoda
Communications Manager
With 18+ years’ cross-industry experience in leading marketing and communication functions for MNCs, SMEs and nonprofits, Ayesha helps achieve ZEI’s strategic objectives. She holds a postgraduate diploma in professional marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK and an MBA from Institute of Business Management, Pakistan.
